Social Worker AASWのSkills AssessmentのためのEnglish Requirement

オーストラリアの各種Skillビザ（SC189, SC190, SC491, SC494, SC186(DE)　等）には技術査定が必須となっています。

留学からSocial Workerをこれから考える方はAASWの認可（Accreditted）コース（Bachelor or Master)の受講が必要となります。

職種によっては英語は免除になりますが、AASWはEnglish Requirementは以下のように定めております。2019年8月に英語条件の変更が以下のように行われています。

原則、高校を英語圏で英語にて修了+3年以上の学士号を英語圏で英語にて受講している証明がない限りはAcademic IELTS７以上の結果を提示する事が必要となります。6か月の２回のテストの組み合わせはOK。IELTS以外の英語テスト（PTE, OET, TOEFL, Cambridge等）は公表されていないため原則、IELTSが必要となります。大学院入学時にIELTS７相当を求める大学は多いですが進学準備コースからIELTS免除で入学ができ、また稀ですが、IELTS6.5レベルでも入学ができるAASW認可修士号コースも存在していますが（例：Excelsia College Master of Social Work（Qualifying）Sydney）、IELTS7の取得は先を考える方のほとんどの方には必須、となります故、大学・大学院入学後も継続して、IELTS対策をしていくことが推奨されます。

The AASW English Language Policy is applicable to all internationally qualified social workers for migration purposes and AASW membership eligibility purposes, and all international graduates of AASW accredited social work programs, for migration purposes, as part of our International Qualifications Assessment (IQA) program.

Previously the test scores were required to be gained in one sitting of the test, however the amendment permits demonstration of evidence of English language proficiency in the International English Testing System(IELTS) Academic Test through two test sittings in a six(6) month period, provided that:

• a minimum score of 7.0 is achieved in either one or two settings and
• a minimum score of 7.0 is achieved in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking) in a maximum of two sittings in a six-month period, and no component score is below 6.5. Where a component score falls below 6.5, the test would not be acceptable.
• OR meet the exemption requirement below
• Demonstration that you have been taught, assessed and completed all your secondary education in English in the nominated countries* AND successfully completed (with a pass grade or higher) the equivalent of three years or more full-time tertiary study (at Bachelor Degree level or higher) which was taught and assessed in English in nominated countries*

All applicants seeking assessment of social work qualifications for migration and/or employment purposes must demonstrate English language proficiency. To demonstrate this:
